Clinico-pharmacological group: The drug, improves metabolism and energy supply of tissues
Release form, composition and packaging:
◊ Capsules solid gelatine, size No. 1, white color; the contents of capsules - white crystalline powder with a faint odour, hygroscopic.
Meldonium dihydrate 250 mg
Auxiliary substances: potato starch - 13.6 mg silica colloidal anhydrous - 5.4 mg, calcium stearate - 2.7 mg.
The composition of the capsule shell: titanium dioxide (E171) - 2%, gelatin - up to 100%.

Indications: reduced working capacity, mental and physical overload
— hypersensitivity to Meldonium or any other component of the drug;
— increased intracranial pressure (if impaired venous drainage, intracranial tumors);
— pregnancy and breastfeeding;
— the age 18 years (safety is not confirmed).
Caution: in diseases of the liver and/or kidneys.
Daily dose for adults is 500 mg (2 capsules). Apply the entire dose in the morning at one time or dividing it into 2 doses. The course of treatment is 10-14 days.
If necessary, repeat the treatment after 2-3 weeks.
Due to possible stimulating effect of the drug is recommended for use in the first half of the day.
Overdose: The cases of drug overdose with Meldonium was not reported. The drug has low toxicity and does not cause severe adverse reactions.
Symptoms: decrease in blood pressure accompanied by headache, tachycardia, dizziness and General weakness. Treatment: symptomatic. In severe cases of overdose it is necessary to control the functions of the liver and kidneys.
Meldonium is allowed to be used simultaneously with nitrates of prolonged action of antianginal and other means, heart glycosides and diuretics. It can also be combined with anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, antiarrhythmic drugs and other drugs that improve the microcirculation.
Meldonium may increase the effects of nitroglycerin, nifedipine, beta-blockers, other antihypertensives, and peripheral vasodilators. The simultaneous use of the drug along with other drugs Meldonium is not allowed, as it can increase the risk of adverse reactions.
Pregnancy and lactation:
Safety of use in pregnant women has not been studied, therefore, to avoid possible adverse effects on the fetus use of the drug in pregnant women is contraindicated.
Excretion in the milk and the effect on the health of the newborn have not been studied, therefore, in need of treatment should stop breastfeeding.
Meldonium usually well tolerated. However, in susceptible patients, as well as in cases of exceeding the recommended dose may cause adverse reactions.

Terms and conditions storage: Store in a dry place at temperatures not above 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Shelf life - 4 years. Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.
